OUR MISSION

In 1962, Dr. Stanley Ho promised: “Our purpose is to bring a new prosperity to Macau and to improve the welfare and living standards of its citizens.”

History shows that Dr. Ho has made good on his promise. Today, Macau has one of the highest per-capita GDP levels in Asia and in the world.

As Macau enters a new historical era, our goal is to expand and further develop our operations, while retaining and advantages of local knowledge. In doing so, we will continue to promote the sustainable prosperity of Macau, the home and origin of over 90% of our employees.

We recognize that if SJM and our shareholders are to prosper, the foundations of our prosperity must be strong, and so we continue to strengthen those foundations.
