13 December 2024 – The Staff Welfare Consultative Committee of SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) organised a trip to Hong Kong on 13 December for 38 team members to gain insights into the national condition and nurture the spirit of “Love the Motherland, Love Macau.” This visit follows previous excursions to various locations within the Greater Bay Area (“GBA”), including Zhaoqing, Foshan, and Hong Kong.

The tour featured a variety of engaging activities, including a visit to the headquarters of Po Leung Kuk and its museum, a tour of the Wanchai branch of the Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong to learn about its patriotic education programme, and a visit to the Legislative Council of Hong Kong. These activities aimed to deepen the participants’ understanding of Hong Kong's history, recent developments, and the role of its Legislative Council.

Through this themed academic programmes and site visits, SJM seeks to enhance team members' understanding of the development trends within GBA cities, strengthen their patriotic awareness, and foster a sense of national recognition.
