29 December 2024 – On December 29, the Macau Social Services Centre organised a "Social Service Forum" at the L'Arc Hotel, attracting 40 representatives from various service communities.

Representatives from the Staff Welfare Consultative Committee (“SWCC”) of SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) attended the forum. Distinguished guests included Ms. Jennifer Chow, Chairman of the Wanchai Branch of the Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong, management representatives from the Bauhinia Association, and Retired Professor So Man Yum from the Department of Social Work at Macao Polytechnic University. They shared their expertise in social work and discussed ways to enhance working efficiency in social services. The forum aimed to promote the social service functions of Greater Bay Area cities and contribute to a harmonious and stable society.
