22 January 2025 – Companhia de Electricidade de Macau held the “Macau Energy Saving Activity 2024” award ceremony at Macau Tower on 22 January 2025. SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”)’s Grand Lisboa Hotel won the “Hotel Group B Excellence Award” and the “Continuous Energy Saving Award.” Additionally, Sofitel Macau at Ponte 16 was honoured with  “Hotel Group B Excellence Award.”

SJM has actively supported energy conservation initiatives organised by various sectors of society and remains committed in promoting environmental sustainability and low-carbon innovative management. The company has implemented several successful energy-saving measures, such as adopting advanced power-saving LED lighting systems, optimising chiller plant efficiency, and adjusting external lighting operation schedules based on daylight hours.

Moreover, SJM has proactively enhanced staff awareness of energy conservation through regular training sessions and has continually deepened team members' understanding of the importance of energy conservation and emission reduction. These efforts not only demonstrate SJM’s strong commitment to environmental protection, but also highlight its positive role in promoting Macao's green and sustainable development.
