31 March 2025 – In response to the recent rise in respiratory diseases in Macau, SJM Resorts, S.A. ("SJM") successfully concluded its "Occupational Safety and Health Promotion Month 2025," which took place from 12 to 31 March. This year's theme was "Workplace Health Starts with Healthy Breathing." The event was held across three major properties: Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau, Grand Lisboa Macau, and Jai Alai Hotel. The Health Bureau of Macau's Tuberculosis Prevention and Treatment Centre and the University Hospital were invited to conduct seminars covering topics such as "Understanding and Preventing Tuberculosis" and "Common Respiratory Diseases and Prevention." Additionally, the Smoke-Free & Healthy Life Association of Macau set up booths for health consultations, exhibitions, health screenings, and interactive games. An online occupational health knowledge quiz was also included in the event. With a diverse range of engaging activities, the "Occupational Safety and Health Promotion Month 2025" reached over 10,000 participants throughout the promotional period.

The "Occupational Safety and Health Promotion Month 2025" aimed to raise employee awareness of workplace health from multiple perspectives, helping them understand the potential impact of respiratory diseases on performance and reducing the risk of infection in the work environment. Workplace health is a key responsibility for any enterprise.
