7 August 2025 – SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) is actively responding to the “Health Macau Blueprint” by partnering with the Macao New Chinese Youth Association to launch the “Silver Age Health Promotion Programme” in June, with support from the Health Bureau. The first session of the Health Carnival took place on 7 August at the Green Poplar rest area. The event featured booths for blood pressure checks, weight management, mental and physical health information, and interactive games. Team members from the Macao New Chinese Youth Association and SJM collaborated with medical professionals to promote healthy living messages to elderly residents and their neighbours. Participating seniors also learned how to use “Macao One Account,” leveraging smart technology to enhance convenience in their daily lives. Nearly 500 citizens attended the event.

Through this programme, SJM aimed to encourage elderly individuals to implement self-health management through practical actions and to enhance their health literacy. Additionally, the programme sought to create a training platform for local medical personnel to collaboratively build a community focused on intergenerational integration and healthy coexistence.
