17 September 2025 – SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) organised a team of members to participate in the “Caregivers Joyful Gathering” , a community education seminar hosted by the Department of Services for the Elderly of Caritas Macau this year. The goal of the event was to enhance the understanding and awareness of SJM team members on elderly care. Participants expressed their desire to give back to society through practical actions in the future, contributing to the construction of a harmonious community.

The first themed seminar was successfully completed on 6 August, targeting volunteer team members involved in the “My ElderFriend Programme” . This seminar addressed topics such as “Physical and Mental Health and Self-Care” and “Stress and Emotional Adjustment” , aiming to improve participants' well-being and teach them techniques for emotional management. The second themed seminar took place on 17 September, focusing on “Physiological Changes in Old Age” and “Mental and Psychological Health of the Elderly”, with enthusiastic participation from team members. Both seminars were conducted by professional nurses, physiotherapists, nutritionists, and social workers, drawing nearly 80 participants in total and receiving positive feedback.
