22 September 2025 – SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) organised a visit to the themed exhibition titled “For National Liberation and World Peace - Exhibition of the 80th Anniversary of the Victory in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.” This event was attended by over 80 management trainees and students participating in SJM's “Forge My Own Journey” Development Programme at the Complex of Commerce and Trade Cooperation Platform for China and Portuguese-speaking Countries. The exhibition displayed a rich collection of historical images and audiovisual materials, conveying the core message of remembering history, honouring fallen heroes, cherishing peace, and creating a better future. The participants listened attentively to detailed explanations from the on-site guides, gaining a deeper understanding of the history of the Anti-Fascist War. They felt inspired by the courageous sacrifices made by the martyrs and were moved by the stories of Macau people who stood together with the motherland through turbulences.

This event is an important part of SJM’s efforts to promote patriotic education. It aimed to guide the youth of Macau in cultivating an appreciation for peace and a sense of responsibility to maintain it. The initiative sought to enhance their sense of identity, belonging and national pride, while instilling the core values of patriotism and love for Macau, ultimately contributing to the development of both the nation and Macau.
