15 October 2025 – Every year on 15 October is International White Cane Day. This year, approximately 30 members from the Rehabilitation Centre of the Blind of the Macau Holy House visited “The Lisboa Story of Macau” exhibition at the Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau, under SJM Resorts, S.A (“SJM”). With the guidance of a tour guide and assistance from centre’s volunteers, the visit combined rich historical narratives, advanced technological displays, and engaging experiences that deepen the members’ understanding of Macau's history and diverse culture.

SJM aimed to use this meaningful day to provide an inclusive communication platform for the social service unit for the visually impaired, which has the longest history in Macau, and promote accessible cultural development. This initiative allowed more visually impaired individuals to participate equally in public cultural life, fostering a spirit of compassion and collaboration to build a harmonious society together.
