28 October 2025 – At the invitation of the Macao Labour Affairs Bureau, SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) organised employee teams to participate in the inaugural “Unity of Hengqin & Macau, Safety in Sync” Cup of safety and health knowledge competition. The event was jointly organised by the Office of the Work Safety Committee of the Hengqin Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone, Macao Labour Affairs Bureau and the Trade Union Committee of the Greater Bay Area Cooperation Zone, aiming to enhance work safety exchanges and cooperation between Hengqin and Macau.

The knowledge competition was held on October 28th in Hengqin and featured four segments: compulsory questions, video-based questions, equipment-related questions, and buzzer-round questions. The content covered core knowledge such as work safety laws and regulations, occupational health protection, and emergency response skills. A total of 12 corporate teams from Hengqin and Macau competed in a lively atmosphere, with SJM actively participating and receiving the “Outstanding Award”.

SJM fully supports the Macao SAR Government’s occupational safety and health policies, encouraging team members to participate in relevant thematic activities to enhance safety skills and deepen their comprehensive understanding of occupational safety and health.
