23 November 2025 – To support 108 Special Olympic athletes in their preparation for the 9th National Special Olympic Games in the People’s Republic of China and to encourage social support for these athletes, the Macau Special Olympics hosted the event “2025 Mystery of the City - Unite to Shine for the Special Olympics” on 23 November.

SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) sponsored part of the venue to ensure the event’s successful execution. Additionally, SJM sent two teams to participate in the “Charity Inclusion Group” competition, partnering with Special Olympic participants to complete various challenge games.

Through its participation in this event, SJM aims to strengthen the relationship between individuals and those with disabilities, enhance societal awareness and recognition of the capabilities of people with disabilities, and foster a friendly and inclusive atmosphere. The goal is to encourage athletes with disabilities to shine on the sports stage. Additionally, SJM actively promotes community care among its team members and the public, committing to support underprivileged communities and advocating for inclusion and equality through practical actions, which reflects the company’s spirit of compassion and dedication to giving back to society.
