SJM Continues to Organise Health Talk for the Silver Age Health Promotion Programme
20 November 2025 – In partnership with the Macao New Chinese Youth Association and with support from the Health Bureau of Macau, SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) launched the “Silver Age Health Promotion Programme” in June this year. On 20 November, the programme’s 10th event welcomed nearly 20 seniors from the Macau Deaf Association to Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau (“GLP”) for a Health Talk on “Joint Health Care for the Elderly and Prevention of Arthritis and Osteoporosis.”
Doctors provided comprehensive guidance on osteoporosis causes, self-testing methods, and daily joint care practices, reinforcing key concepts through an interactive Q&A session. Following the talk, participants explored the “Culture City of East Asia 2025” Lantern Art Exhibition and “A Racing Legacy – SJM Theodore Racing Interactive Exhibition” at GLP Arte, concluding with a fine lunch that rounded out an enriching and enjoyable day.
Through this programme, SJM demonstrated its commitment to supporting the elderly by strengthening community networks and encouraging seniors to take an active role in their health management. The initiative also provided a valuable training platform for local healthcare professionals, fostering a more inclusive community for all.
