12 December 2025 – Since 2024, SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) and the Macau Holy House of Mercy have collaboratively organised the “My ElderFriend Programme”, an initiative aimed at fostering friendships between the elderly residents of the Macau Holy House of Mercy's nursing homes and the SJM Volunteer Team. Through regular visits, the programme seeks to enhance the seniors' sense of social connection and promote their physical, mental, and spiritual well-being, thereby bringing warmth and comfort to their later years.

The “My ElderFriend Programme” has garnered enthusiastic support and recognition. Regular visits persisted from November to December. Since its inception in early 2024, 25 volunteers have been making regular monthly visits to the elderly centres.

SJM has demonstrated an ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility through its collaboration with community organisations and provision of diverse services and support to society. Looking ahead, SJM will continue to utilise its resources to assist underprivileged groups and contribute to the development of a harmonious and inclusive community.
