SJM hits 32% market share

(Macau, 3 December 2009) – The publication of November market data from the LUSA agency shows that SJM is maintaining its market leadership position with a 32% market share.

Commenting on the news, Louis Ng, SJM Chief Operating Officer, said, "This market share figure represents a new high for SJM since all six concessionaires came into operation. We also recorded the highest monthly gross revenue volume in SJM's history. In October we hit a new high and this month we have continued that trend with a further record figure. This was achieved in a market that was down month on month."

He went on, "We are also pleased to note that SJM's share of the profitable mass gaming segment continues to be above 42%. With Casino Oceanus at Jai Alai soon to open opposite the Macau ferry terminal, we are looking forward to even more success in the future."
