26 January 2024 - Jointly held by SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) and the Macao Blood Transfusion Service, the “blood donation talk and visit to the blood bank” activity aims to deepen employees’ understanding of blood donation and the society’s demand for blood. It also strives to motivate colleagues to actively participate in the forthcoming blood donation event organised by the company.

Approximately 20 employees participated in the activity. They listened attentively to the explanation from the doctor at the blood donation centre and visited the blood bank to understand the operation of Macau’s blood transfusion organisation under the guidiance of doctors. Additionally, some employees chose to donate blood immediately after the tour.

Through this activity, SJM aimed to further promote the message that “blood donation can promote blood circulation, save the other’s lives, help others, and help themselves”. It hopes that employees can share the knowledge gained from the activity with their colleagues and families, and encourage more friends to participate in blood donation.
