Promoting well-being and ensuring continuous care are central to our corporate governance. As we offer comprehensive protection for our employees’ health, we are also enhancing benefits for the company and society. To this end, we implement five major initiatives: offering nutritious meal options, self-assessments, sharing sessions on mental and physical wellness, active lifestyle promotions, and other supportive care services.”
Ms. Angela Leong, Director and Chairman of the Staff Welfare Consultative Committee of SJM, stated: “SJM has always been fully supportive of the SAR Government’s policies to promote the well-being of its citizens and actively promote Macau’s integration into the national development framework, supporting the national ‘Healthy China’ initiative as an important principle in the Report to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. Through the implementation of the Healthy Enterprise Program, we hope to help employees reduce stress, enhance immunity, maintain both physical and mental healthy, and foster a greater sense of happiness and accomplishment among our team members.”
During the ceremony, Ms. Angela Leong presented certificates of appreciation to the guests of honour. Guests watched promotional videos on “Healthy Enterprise” and the “SJM Care” Support Hotline, followed by a tour of the Health Carnival’s booths, where they took an interest in the myriad of activities SJM has organised for its team members. The carnival is now in full swing from 22 to 27 March and 3 April, with a series of activities taking place at Grand Lisboa Palace, Grand Lisboa Macau, and Jai Alai Oceanus, including:
