SJM as Ceremony Partner of Business Awards of Macau with Robuchon au Dôme winning the Most Valuable Brand Excellence Award
The Annual Business Awards of Macau Ceremony and Gala Dinner was held on 21 November 2019 at the Grand Ballroom of Grand Lisboa Hotel, with Sociedade de Jogos de Macau, S.A. (“SJM”) and Grand Lisboa as the ceremony partners of the event for the seventh consecutive year.
Ms. Daisy Ho, Chairman of the Board of Directors of SJM, said in her welcome speech, “SJM considers the Business Awards program to be extremely important in giving recognition to the organizations and individuals that have made extraordinary contributions to Macau’s economy and society. The value of this Business Awards program goes beyond recognition of the winners, as the program serves to motivate other companies and individual leaders to join the select group that is named tonight.”
At the awards ceremony, Grand Lisboa Hotel’s Robuchon au Dôme was presented the “Most Valuable Brand” Excellence Award in recognition of its contributions to the company and to Macau’s culinary development over the years. Grand Lisboa Hotel, a pioneer in fine dining, opened Robuchon au Dôme in 2008, celebrating a continuation of collaboration with the late legendary Chef Joël Robuchon since 2001. Robuchon au Dôme, a cradle of traditional French fine dining in Macau, is the only restaurant in the city awarded with Michelin 3 stars for eleven consecutive years in a row. Mr. William Visser, General Manager of Grand Lisboa Hotel, received the award on behalf of the hotel.
