15 December 2024 – SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) was pleased to support the “Joy to Children at Christmas” charity event organised by Caritas Macau, which aimed to distribute festive gifts to 800 children from underprivileged families in Macau, and an additional 500 children from disadvantaged communities in East Timor and Bengal. Additionally, food hampers were given to families in need in these three regions. The gift distribution and cheque presentation ceremony took place on 15 December at the Centro de Serviços Integrados de Apoio à Família — Fonte de Alegria e de Energia of Caritas Macau. This initiative sought to promote care and love within the community and was conducted in a warm and lively atmosphere.

“Joy to Children at Christmas”  has been held since 2004 and has a rich history of 20 years. Over the years, it has supported children in need from Macau, Mainland China, and various regions worldwide. Caritas Macau has been proud to take over this meaningful Christmas event for the past two years, extending its reach to children from underprivileged areas overseas and bringing them festive joy.
