8 February 2025 – On the occasion of the Lantern Festival, SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) invited members and their families from the Macau IC2 Association to participate in the “Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage Experience Workshop Series” held at GLP Arte of Grand Lisboa Palace. Participants had the opportunity to create colourful and agile fish lanterns, engaging with this intangible cultural heritage under the guidance of professional instructors. Following this, participants interacted with SJM’s team members by making clay sweet dumplings and guessing lantern riddles together, all while immersing themselves in the Lantern festiveculture and customs in a warm and lively atmosphere filled with laughter.

Since 2024, SJM continuously organised the “Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage Experience Workshop Series,” which included various traditional Chinese arts such as lacquer art, paper cutting, mother-of-pearl inlay, and filigree enameling. SJM is dedicated to preserving cultural heritage and aims to enhance public knowledge of Chinese traditional art and culture, while promoting cultural confidence and pride.
