SJM Donates MOP300,000 to Support Macau Holy House of Mercy’s Welfare Shop
3 March 2025 – For the thirteenth consecutive year, SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) has proudly continued its support for the Macau Holy House of Mercy’s Welfare Shop through the donation to its “Food Hampers” campaign. On 1 March, the SJM Volunteer Team participated in the event by delivering food hampers and red packets to over 370 families in need. This initiative aimed to spread festive blessings and uplift the spirit among local underprivileged groups by giving back to the community through meaningful actions.
Recently, Ms. Daisy Ho, Managing Director of SJM, represented the company in donating a MOP300,000 cheque to the Macau Holy House of Mercy’s Welfare Shop. The donation was accepted by Mr. António José de Freitas, President of the Board of Trustees of The Macau Holy House of Mercy. Guests at the cheque presentation ceremony included: Ms. Angela Leong, SJM Director and Chairman of the Staff Welfare Consultative Committee; Ms. Ho Sut Heng, President of the Macao Federation of Trade Unions; Mr. Chan Ka Leong, President of the Board of Directors of the General Union of Neighbourhood Associations of Macau, and Ms. Gisela Nunes, Secretary General of the Macau Holy House of Mercy.

This year, we celebrate our thirteenth consecutive collaboration with the ‘Food Hampers’ campaign organised by the Macau Holy House of Mercy’s Welfare Shop. We are honoured to partner with the Macau Holy House of Mercy, a venerable charitable organisation with centuries of rich local history, to champion charity in Macau and nurture a harmonious and stable community.”
Since 2013, SJM has actively participated in and supported the “Food Hampers” campaign by the Macau Holy House of Mercy’s Welfare Shop, promoting the spirit of care and inclusivity in society.
