7 March 2025  – SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) has earned the “Green Building Innovation & Technology – Excellent Award” and the “Quality Education Innovation and Technology – Excellent Award” at the 2025 Hong Kong Sustainable Development Innovation and Technology Awards. These accolades recognised SJM’s remarkable achievements in utlitising innovative technologies to promote sustainability.

To reduce water consumption, SJM has implemented several water management initiatives. At Grand Lisboa Palace Macau, faucet flow regulators were installed, and at Grand Lisboa Macau, underground water is used for toilet flushing. These initiatives won the “Green Building Innovation & Technology – Excellent Award.”

Additionally, SJM launched a digital learning platform that provides flexible and personalised training for over 18,000 employees. This initiative aims to reduce paper usage and transportation resources associated with training. These efforts were recognised with the “Quality Education Innovation and Technology – Excellent Award.”
