23 April 2025 – SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) recently hosted the 2025 SJM Basketball and Football Friendly Invitational Matches, attracting 16 teams from the company and other friendly organisations. Participating teams included football teams from Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau, Grand Lisboa Macau (“Grand Lisboa”), Hotel Lisboa Macau, and Jai Alai Hotel .

The kick-off ceremony was officiated by Ms. Angela Leong, Director of SJM, Chairman of the SJM Staff Welfare Consultative Committee, along with other distinguished guests. This was followed by several exciting matches. The teams from Grand Lisboa, Sociedade de Lotarias Wing Hing, Lda., and Macau Slot secured the Championship, first runner-up, and second runner-up positions in the basketball matches. In the football matches, the winners were Grand Lisboa, the Security Department of SJM, and Jai Alai Hotel, who took home the Championship, first runner-up, and second runner-up awards, respectively.

The award presentation ceremony took place on 23 April, where Ms. Daisy Ho, Managing Director of SJM, presented certificates to all participating football and basketball teams and awarded trophies and medals to the winners as a gesture of encouragement. The SJM management team and athletes from friendly organisations gathered in a lively atmosphere to interact.

Through these matches, SJM aimed to encourage team members to actively participate in sports activities, foster team spirit, promote the development of sports in Macau, and work towards building Macau into a thriving sports city.
