4 May 2025 – SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) invited the General Union of Neighbourhood Associations of Macau (“UGAMM”) to participate in a sea cruise activity on 4 May, ahead of Mother’s Day. The event, themed “May of Warmth,” was organised by UGAMM and aimed to bring festive joy to participating single-parent families, allowing them to experience a sense of community during the holiday. The activity featured a sea cruise, a visit to the Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau (“Grand Lisboa Palace”), and delicious refreshments. A local resident sponsored part of the expenses for the event.

Twelve single-parent families, with approximately 30 participants, attended the event. The group departed from Barra Pier for a scenic journey to Coloane Pier, where SJM team members provided detailed guidance on the natural landscapes and attractions along the route. Fun interactive games were also arranged onboard. After disembarking, participants enjoyed photo opportunities with SJM’s mascot, “Sam the Rooster,” which delighted the children. They then visited “Eight Treasure” at Grand Lisboa Palace for exquisite refreshments. SJM team members hosted a quiz with prizes for the children and assisted them in offering real-time Mother’s Day greetings. The event concluded with laughter and joy, allowing participants to share memorable moments together, fostering positive parent-child interactions and strengthening family bonds.
