22 June 2025 – SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) has been providing career training for youth in collaboration with the Sheng Kung Hui Macau Social Services Coordination Office since 2023. As part of this initiative, SJM launched the “Youth Handicraft Instruction Training Programme” to offer regular sessions aimed at enhancing the teaching skills of the new generation. On 18 May and 22 June, SJM invited nearly 30 young participants to take part in two handcraft training sessions held at the GLP Arte in the Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau (“GLP”). Guided by professional instructors, the participants learned to create bamboo wind chimes and flower hairpins. In addition to honing their skills, these young individuals will also assist in leading art-making activities for other members of social service organisations in the future, thereby laying a foundation for their career development.
