26 August 2025 – SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) organised a team visit to the themed exhibition titled “For National Liberation and World Peace - Exhibition of the 80th Anniversary of the Victory in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War” (“the Exhibition”), hosted by the Macao SAR Government and supported by the Commemorative Museum of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. This initiative aims to deepen team members’ understanding of the history of the War of Resistance, and carry forward the resilient national spirit. Today, Ms. Daisy Ho, Managing Director of SJM, and Ms. Angela Leong, Director of SJM and Chairman of the SJM Staff Welfare Consultative Committee, along with a group of 50 management and team members from the company, visited the Exhibition at the Complex of the Commerce and Trade Co-operation Platform for China and Portuguese-speaking Countries. The company plans to organise more team visits in the future.

The Exhibition features six thematic sections: “Outbreak of War – Rising to Save the Nation”, “Nationwide Resistance – United against Japanese Aggression”, “United as One – A Common Resolve Against the Invaders”, “Growing Momentum – Red Resistance in Macao”, “Fighting Fascism Together – The Eastern Main Battlefield” and “Great Victory – A Turning Point for National Rejuvenation”. The Exhibition vividly depicts the difficult 14-year period of the Chinese people during wartime from 1931 to 1945. It also focuses on the heroic resistance and victory of the Chinese people, highlighting their perseverance and dedication to improving the well-being of the people in their pursuit of a better future. Furthermore, the Exhibition emphasises Macau society’s support in the fight against Japanese aggression through fundraising, spreading messages of national salvation, aiding refugees, and fighting on the front lines — demonstrating the strong bonds of solidarity between Macau residents and the nation, united by blood ties and a shared destiny.

As the first integrated resort in Macau introducing systematic patriotic education and red tourism, SJM consistently showcases its commitment to patriotism through themed activities, including the “Two Sessions Spirit Sharing Session”, the “Jiangxi Jinggangshan Patriotic Education and Training Programme,” and the “My Motherland GBA Tour”.
