SJM Holds “Dead To Rights” Movie Screening for Team Members to Foster National Spirit
1 September 2025 – Marking the 80th Anniversary of the Victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) held an exclusive employee screening of “Dead To Rights” on 30 August. Through the film’s compelling visual storytelling, team members gained a profound understanding of the nation’s historical hardships, reflected on the sacrifices of martyrs, and reinforced their commitment to remembering history, cherishing peace, and perpetuating patriotic spirit.
The event was officiated by Yang Yi, Deputy Director of the Economic Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macao SAR, Choi Kam Fu, Vice Chairperson of Macau Federation of Trade Unions, Angela Leong, Director of SJM and Chairman of the Staff Welfare Consultative Committee, and Paul Hung, President of Security, Surveillance & Environmental, Social and Governance of SJM, along with approximately 170 team members.
As the first integrated resort in Macau introducing systematic patriotic education and red tourism, SJM consistently showcases its commitment to patriotism through themed activities, including the “Two Sessions Spirit Sharing Session”, the “Jiangxi Jinggangshan Patriotic Education and Training Programme,” and the “My Motherland GBA Tour”. These efforts unite team members in sustaining the legacy of patriotism and dedication to Macau.
