3 September 2025 – The Commemoration of the 80th Anniversary of the Victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War was held at Tiananmen Square in Beijing on 3 September. SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) organised live-streaming sessions in the staff cafeteria and back-of-house areas, allowing team members to experience this historic moment together. They attentively listened to President Xi Jinping's speech and watched the military parade with immense pride and inspiration for the nation's strength.

In addition to the live broadcast, SJM’s management and team members visited the exhibition titled “For National Liberation and World Peace - Exhibition of the 80th Anniversary of the Victory in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War” at the Complex of the Commerce and Trade Co-operation Platform for China and Portuguese-speaking Countries at the end of last month. SJM plans  to organise exhibition visits for executive trainees and participants of the “Forge My Own Journey” Development Programme, with the aim of guiding the younger generation to remember history, protect peace, and foster the spirit of patriotism.
