4 October 2025 – To celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) hosted community-focused events aimed at sharing warmth and strengthening its corporate culture of supporting others.

The highlight of these efforts was the “SJM Spreading Warmth Mid-Autumn Outreach Programme”, which ran from 15 September to 4 October. Approximately 70 SJM volunteers visited 950 needy families to deliver Mid-Autumn mooncakes and festive greetings, benefiting over 2,800 individuals. The families visited were associated with various social welfare organisations in Macau, including the Macau Special Olympics (“MSO”), the Macau Association of the Hearing Impaired, the Macau Down Syndrome Association, the Child Protection Centre of the Against Child Abuse (Macau) Association, and Escola De S. José De Ká-Hó. This initiative also covered single-parent families, disadvantaged families, and elderly individuals living alone.

SJM is dedicated to community support, and the elderly and children with special needs have always been the focus. During the Mid-Autumn Festival campaign, SJM team members visited the Salvation Army Rui Xi Integrated Service Centre for Senior Citizens, spending quality time with the elderly alongside young people from Caritas Macau. Activities included leading warm-up exercises for seniors, musical performances by Caritas youth, and crafting sessions. Moreover, the SJM volunteer team visited the Macao Holy House of Mercy to create Mid-Autumn-themed items with the elderly as part of the “My ElderFriend Programme”, helping them experience the warmth of the Festival.

On the same day, SJM, in collaboration with MSO, organised the “2025 MSO x SJM Collaboration Scheme — Mid-Autumn Festival Community Activity” at the Urban Farm in Coloane on 13 September. SJM volunteers and MSO members participated in games such as pot throwing and lantern riddle guessing, and they collaborated to make lanterns. The atmosphere was lively, promoting interaction and sharing achievements while celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival.

Rooted in Macau for over 60 years, SJM has consistently given back to society through meaningful actions. SJM will continue to collaborate closely with local social welfare organisations, regularly hosting and supporting various public community activities, while encouraging team members to participate actively and contribute positive energy to the Macau community.
