13 December 2025 – Title-sponsored by SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) and organised by Macau Special Olympics (“MSO”), the SJM MSO Tennis Open Day 2025 was held on 13 December at the tennis courts of the Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau. The event attracted over 50 participants from MSO, Richmond Fellowship of Macau, Escola Luso-Chinesa Técnico-Profissional and Caritas de Macau School. All participants enjoyed the fun of tennis while promoting social inclusion of individuals with physical challenges.

The event featured three tennis-related activities: the “Individual Skills Competition”, which focused on showcasing participants’ basic tennis techniques; the “Inclusion Workshop”, where SJM Volunteer Team members teamed up with association members to foster interaction and collaboration; the “Game Experience Zone”, where participants could redeem small gifts after completing five tennis-themed games. The event was fully supported by the SJM Volunteer Team and concluded successfully in a joyful atmosphere.

Prior to the open day, MSO organised five “Tennis Training Workshops” sponsored by SJM to provide individuals with special needs the opportunity to engage and discover the joy of tennis. These workshops were held at Escola Kai Chi, Concordia School for Special Education and Caritas de Macau School. The workshops provided a relaxed environment for the participants to get to know and engage with the sport, enhancing their interest in tennis.

SJM will continue to deepen public understanding and support for inclusive sports through organising, sponsoring, and participating in such initiatives, working together to build a harmonious and inclusive society.
