7 December 2025 – SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) and the Sheng Kung Hui Astor Shore held the “Youth and Elderly Craft Workshop for Winter Solstice” on 7 December at the Lar de Cuidados de Ká Hó da Federação das Associações dos Operários de Macau. Young craft instructors collaborated with 15 elderly participants to create bamboo weaving artworks themed around the Winter Solstice. Together, they selected bamboo strip colours, carefully arranged them, and wove them into vibrant pieces. The workshop allowed elderly participants to experience the charm of traditional Chinese craftsmanship while fostering warm intergenerational connections and conveying festive spirit through handmade crafts.

Since 2023, SJM has operated the “Youth Handicraft Instructor Training Programme”, which trains young people to become instructors who lead workshops for various community groups. The initiative provides youth with practical experience and a sense of accomplishment while fostering interactive communication and building a caring, inclusive community.
