18 December 2025 – SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) is committed to promoting cultural and artistic activities in Macau. Apart from co-hosting the Macao Orchestra's 2025-26 concert season, SJM invited local students, including members of the University of Macau Symphony Orchestra, to two exceptional performances on 7 and 18 December. This initiative aimed to provide enriching learning opportunities for young people and support Macau’s development of the next generation of musicians and artists. The performance on 7 December featured “Romeo and Juliet”, conducted by the internationally renowned conductor Lio Kuokman, while the concert on 18 December was titled “Celebration of the 26th Anniversary of Macao’s Return to the Motherland“ A Medley of Chinese Classics Concert, which connected feelings of national pride and memories of the city through music. At the Macao Cultural Centre, students immersed themselves in the orchestra’s refined interpretations, discovering the nuances of teamwork and emotional communication in performance while gaining artistic inspiration that transcends the classroom.
