30 December 2025 – Upholding the core value of “Loving the Motherland and Macau”, SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) recently donated HK million to support the construction of the Xinwan Town Healthcare Centre in Xiushui County, Jiangxi Province. This initiative actively responds to the joint efforts of the Macao SAR Government and the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macao SAR to promote rural revitalisation in Xiushui. After relocation and construction, the new healthcare infrastructure will significantly improve the medical environment and capacity of Xiushui while facilitating more convenient access for the local residents, fulfilling the goal of “treating minor illnesses within the village and common illnesses within the town”.

Ms. Daisy Ho, Managing Director of SJM, stated, “We are honoured to support this worthy cause as the people’s health is the cornerstone of rural development. The Xinwan Town Healthcare Centre, upon completion, will provide a comprehensive, quality health service platform for the local residents, safeguarding their health and offering them more convenient access to medical treatment. SJM, as a responsible Macau enterprise, will continue to promote exchanges and cooperation with the Mainland in alignment with the national development agenda.”

The signing ceremony was held on 30 December 2025 in Xiushui County with the participation of Mr. Cheong Chok Man, Director of the Policy Research and Regional Development Bureau of the Macao SAR Government; Mr. Yang Quanzhou, Deputy Director-General of the Economic Affairs Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macao SAR; Mr. Fu Xiaopeng, Deputy Director of the Soviet District Office of Jiangxi Province; Mr. Chen Jun, Deputy Director of the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of Jiangxi Province; Mr. Du Shaohua, Vice Mayor of Jiujiang Municipal Government; Mr. Zheng Qinghua, Secretary of the CPC Xiushui County Committee; and Ms. Liu Jie, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Xiushui County Committee and head of Xiushui County. After the signing ceremony, the Macau delegation visited the Huang Tingjian Memorial Hall, the Ninghong Tea Innovation Industrial Park, and other locations in Xiushui.
