These training initiatives include the “SJM ‘Level Up’ Culinary Career Development Programme”, the “SJM Excellence in Tourism Service Ambassador Programme”, and the “Career Forward Internship Programme”, all in partnership with the Labour Affairs Bureau. Meanwhile, SJM also independently offers programmes such as the “SJM Career New Start – Career Development Programme,” which helps gaming-related employees explore non-gaming career pathways, and the “SJM Management Trainee Programme”, Through these initiatives, many employees have successfully transferred from gaming-related positions to non-gaming departments.
In addition, SJM also establishes partnership with local higher education institutions, including co-organising the SJM “Forge My Own Journey” Development Programme with the Macao University of Tourism. This initiative adopts an industry-academia integration approach to facilitate students' smooth transition into the workplace. Looking ahead, the company will continue to strengthen cooperation with government departments and educational institutions, further enhancing training content and career growth avenues. The company is fully committed to cultivate more high-calibre local professionals who meet national development needs, thereby providing solid talent support for Macau’s moderate economic diversification and sustainable development.
