14 March 2026 – Dedicated to fostering art and culture in Macau, SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) co-organises the Macao Orchestra 2025/2026 season with the Macao Cultural Affairs Bureau. The remarkable “Classics on Strings” concert, presented by SJM, was held on 14 March at the Grand Auditorium of Macao Cultural Centre, bringing an evening of enchanting music to the community and visitors.

We invited nearly 30 students from the University of Macau and the Macao Polytechnic University, including members from the university orchestra and choir, to the concert, enabling young audience to deepen their knowledge about our local orchestra while immersing in the beautiful performance.

Conducted by internationally renowned violinist Julian Rachlin, in collaboration with violist Sarah McElravy and the Macao Orchestra, the concert featured mesmerising string works, including masterpieces by Beethoven, Mozart and Mendelssohn. The toasting ceremony before the concert was officiated by Vice President of the Cultural Affairs Bureau Cheang Kai Meng and Secretary-General of SJM Rui Cunha.
