13 March 2026 – Demonstrating its ongoing commitment to the community, SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) invited participants from the Corner Shop of Richmond Fellowship of Macau to Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau for a workplace experience programme. Through guided tours and direct engagement with hotel staff, the event helped participants explore vocational interests.

SJM team members guided the group through the hotel guest rooms, walking them through housekeeping procedures and occupational health and safety practices. Participants were also invited to make beds themselves, gaining practical skills and a sense of accomplishment. The group continued with a tour of the floristry workshop and back-of-house areas, offering an inside look at the operations of a large-scale hospitality enterprise. Throughout the journey, participants asked thoughtful questions, and left with a deeper understanding of both the hotel and floristry professions.
