SJM Welcomes Community Organisations to Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau and Sea Cruise Experiences
21 March 2026 – From February to March, SJM hosted a series of community care events welcoming approximately 130 participants, including students, families with children, and senior citizens, from organisations such Sing Kong Se of Association of Parents of the People with Intellectual Disabilities of Macau, the YMCA of Macau, the Bosco Youth Service Network, and the Obra das Mães. Participants joined multiple visits to Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau and enjoyed the Macau Cruise experience. Through arts and cultural exhibitions, hands-on craft workshops, and guided tours, the events brought care and warmth to diverse communities across Macau.
The programme offered a wide range of enriching activities. Participants visited the Grand Lisboa Palace Art Gallery to explore the exhibition “The Lisboa, Stories of Macau”, where tour guides led them through Macau’s rich history and cultural heritage via interactive experiences. Some parent-child groups joined the “Women’s Day: Tulip Flower Bouquet Workshop,” during which children handcrafted floral arrangements as a heartfelt tribute to their mothers. In addition, seniors were treated to a visit and photo session at the “Jardim Secreto” of Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau, while youth participants set off from Barra Pier to enjoy the Macau Cruise and take in the stunning coastal scenery.
Participants expressed that the events fostered a strong sense of community warmth and belonging, and that sharing these cherished moments with family and friends made the experience especially meaningful.
