2 April 2026 – In preparation for Macau’s major sporting events— the Macau International Dragon Boat Race and the Association Cup Small Dragon Boat Race, the SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) Dragon Boat Team sent 54 members to the Jiujiang Dragon Boat Training Base in the Nanhai District, Foshan for a two-day training and exchange programme. The initiative aimed to sharpen technical skills and strengthen team spirit.

The Jiujiang Dragon Boat Training Base is one of China’s most renowned dragon boat training facilities, having nurtured multiple world champion teams. The training was led by world-class instructors, with national team members personally demonstrating competitive techniques, while coaches shared valuable insights and essential skills for high-level competition. Through a combination of theoretical learning and hands-on paddling practice, team members enhanced their overall performance and group coordination.
