SJM Management and Team Members Visit the “National Security Education Exhibition”
16 April 2026 – SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) has been consistently organising its team members to visit the “National Security Education Exhibition”, jointly hosted by the Macao SAR Government and the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macau SAR. Marking the 11th National Security Education Day, SJM plans to arrange visits for around 300 team members this year, including more than 80 young participants from the SJM Management Trainee Programme and the “Forge My Own Journey” Development Programme. Through this initiative, SJM aims to enhance participants’ understanding of national security, highlight Macau’s achievements in safeguarding it, and reinforce team members’ sense of responsibility and mission.
On the exhibition’s opening day to the public, SJM took the lead in organising a visit for its team members. Ms. Angela Leong, Director and Chairman of the SJM Staff Welfare Consultative Committee, Dr. Rui Cunha, Secretary-General, and other executives toured the exhibition under docent guidance, gaining insights into the strategic importance of national security through rich displays of images, texts, and videos. This year’s exhibition, themed “Coordinating Development and Security: Safeguarding the New Journey of the 15th Five-Year Plan,” features a preface and five thematic sections, offering a comprehensive review of national and Macau SAR efforts to advance development and security in tandem.
Ms. Daisy Ho, Managing Director of SJM, stated: “National security is the foundation of social stability and the well-being of people across the nation, including Macau. As this year marks the inaugural year of both the national 15th Five-Year Plan and the formulation of Macau’s Third Five-Year Plan, it holds special significance. Through visits to the National Security Education Exhibition, our team members can gain a deeper understanding of the holistic national security concept and the importance of coordinating development and security under ‘One Country, Two Systems’. Upholding our core values of ‘Love for the Motherland, Love for Macau’, SJM will continue to strengthen national security and national education, support the Macao SAR Government in safeguarding national security, and contribute to Macau’s long-term stability and deeper integration into national development.”
As the first integrated resort in Macau to introduce systematic patriotic education courses and red tourism programmes for employees, SJM has long supported the work of the Macao SAR Government and the Liaison Office. The company continues to roll out a wide range of patriotic initiatives, including the 10th “SJM Jiangxi Jinggangshan Patriotic Education and Training Programme” from 20 to 24 April, with nearly 100 team members and Macau youth participating. It will also host the “My Motherland GBA Tour” (Zhongshan Edition) on 29 April, bringing close to 50 team members to explore the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. In addition, SJM holds annual Two Sessions Spirit Sharing Sessions and regularly organises national education courses and patriotic film screenings, with the aim of embedding the values of “Love for the Motherland, Love for Macau” within the company, families and among future generations.
