Sociedade de Jogos de Macau, S.A. (“SJM”) was a major sponsor of the “First Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Chinese Opera Cultural Festival”, which was held in Macau from 5 to 9 November 2020 with a series of unparalleled performances, including Cantonese opera “Searching The Academy”, Kunqu opera “The Peony Pavilion”, Henan opera “Gentle Breeze Pavilion”, and Peking Opera “Qin Xianglian”. Jointly organised by China Theatre Association, Hong Kong Ta Kung Wen Wei Media Group and other entities, the Festival had invited Guangzhou Cantonese Opera Theatre, Tianjin Youth Peking Opera Troupe, Shanghai Kunqu Opera Troupe and Henan Opera Troupe No. 2 for performances in Macau.
